In June 2006, Milam Investors was presented with another unique challenge in this 2.05-acre vacant land located along Austin Highway, east of the Rittiman Road / Austin Highway fork.
Strategy:
Milam Investors was able to acquire this property and began to implement plans for a building to suit opportunity. The overall strategy was to capitalize on the emerging market area associated with the redevelopment of Austin Highway.
Results:
Through pre-leasing efforts, Milam Investors sold this property in June 2007. The partnership’s return on this investment exceeded 34 percent.
